Westport School of Music in Westport, CT, was founded in 1938 and is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. Our mission at the music school is to provide quality music instruction for people of all ages regardless of race, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, ability, or income. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood in scenic Westport, the WSM is one of the oldest continuing nonprofit music schools in Connecticut. With a faculty from some of the most prestigious conservatories and university music schools in the country, WSM is committed to providing student-centered learning for both children and adults throughout Fairfield County. WSM offers weekly private lessons and several annual performance opportunities.
