Dr. Ionescu believes that the goal of primary care is to prevent the onset of disease to allow patients to lead long and especially healthy lives. In addition to being board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Ionescu also holds a Masters’ Degree in Human Nutrition. She believes the most rewarding part of being a physician is following her patients throughout the years and helping them celebrate all their achievements, big and small, when it comes to their health. An admitted “foodie, ” and avid fisherwoman, Dr. Ionescu is a proud wife and mother to two mischievous little boys.
